Following an early leak of her new single, pop singer Britney Spears pushed forward the release of "Work B**ch" to Sunday afternoon. On the grimy electronic track, Spears boasts about the beautiful life and demands: "Now get to work, b**ch!"
Spears' "Work B**ch" leaked early Sunday morning and was set to debut tomorrow afternoon so she decided to officially premiere the song ahead of schedule. It serves as the lead single from her upcoming eighth studio album.
Spears is all about the fast life on this frenetic EDM track. She raps the verses in a British accent (like on 2012's "Scream & Shout" with will.i.am), asking, "You want a hot body? You want a Bugatti? You want a Maserati?" With utmost confidence, Britney demands throughout: "You betta work b**tch!" There is no Ru Paul sample (as previously rumored) but Spears holds her own on this just as memorable and awesomely fierce dance track. She promised something very different from what's been done in the past and delivers. Never has Britney been this forward and frank on a single before but she proudly embraces her inner grown woman, saying, "I am the bad b**ch!"
"Work B**ch" will also be released to iTunes earlier due to the leak. The single will be available at 12:01 a.m. EST on September 16. She is also set to announce some big news (presumably about her Las Vegas residency) and perform on "Good Morning America" the following day.
