The Premier League 2013 live stream and TV games continue on Sunday, Sept. 1 with several marquee matchups. One of those will feature Manchester United battling Liverpool in an early season game for both clubs. The latest Premier League live streaming soccer game will be presented for fans thanks to the NBC Sports Network.
According to an Aug. 31 report via NBC Sports, if Manchester United wins against Liverpool Sunday it will be their fourth straight. This is the fiercest rivalry in all of the Premier League and could make for one of the spotlight matchups of the weekend's Premier League action. Liverpool has impressed many early, despite not having the services of Luis Suarez, just yet. Suarez is due back in a bit after his suspension is done, but Daniel Sturidge has been filling in for him just fine. Sturidge has notched game-winners in his team's two victories so far this season.
Liverpool is dealing with injury issues on the defensive side of things, with Kolo Toure and Sebastian Coates out. Martin Skrtel is also returning from injury, so right now only Daniel Agger is "fully-fit" for the Liverpool defense. That could allow Wayne Rooney and crew to take advantage of their opponents' defensive deficiencies.
United manager David Moyes said of Rooney heading into this fierce rivalry:
“He’s looking in good condition and is mentally in good shape. We’ll do everything we possibly can to keep that going and need him to keep performing well. At the moment, he’s in good shape. Wayne Rooney has been a great player for many years for Manchester United. He was an up and coming great player as a young boy at Everton and his career has gone the way that people expected it to go.”
Liverpool currently holds a 2-0 record which is good for 6 points and one of the top spots on the Premier League table. Manchester United has a 1-1 record with 4 points and ranks sixth on the table. United was among one of the favorites to finish among the top teams this season. Coming into this matchup, Liverpool are 8 to 5 favorites to win, with a draw priced at 12 to 5, and Man. U priced at 19 to 10. Many are predicting this could end up in a draw as the two teams' rivalry continues onward.
Sunday's Liverpool vs. Manchester United game has a start time of 8:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. The televised coverage will be available on cable or satellite through the NBC Sports Network. In addition, this Premier League game will be live streaming online via the NBC Sports Live Extra site. See more details at the official site for how to watch online.
