“Teen Mom 3” may have been canceled by MTV, but fans are still keeping up with the cast, particularly Mackenzie Douthit-McKee who is pregnant with her second child. This pregnancy has not been easy for the former reality show star and her doctors actually urged against her getting pregnant again. Mackenzie suffers from Type I Diabetes which can cause trouble during pregnancy and it looks like it has now put Mackenzie Douthit-McKee in the hospital. According to a Jan. 30 report from Wetpaint, things are not going well for the former “Teen Mom 3” star.
Mackenzie Douthit-McKee has had a drop in blood sugar which has caused her to be hospitalized. Her mother revealed that, although Mackenzie is 36 weeks pregnant, they are trying to control her blood sugar to keep the baby from coming just yet. That isn’t the only thing that hasn’t gone right for Mackenzie, though.
Mackenzie explained, “I rushed to my moms work crying and she called and they hung up on her and sent us a letter saying they dropped me. Ok is it me or is that very unprofessional? ?? Here I am about to pop and having the worst blood sugars not knowing if my daughter is gonna be ok because they did this and I have no diabetic care. Anyways please pray for me and baby girl."
Mackenzie revealed that some doctors had “questioned the validity of her symptoms,” and, as a result, dropped her. There is no doubt the former “Teen Mom 3” star is stressed out and that may be having an impact on her symptoms. Hopefully everything works out for her, though!
