Pregnant Kate spotted shopping for first maternity styles (Photo)

Pregnant Kate Middleton's been spotted shopping all over London recently, but it wasn't until Wednesday when she was said to be eyeing up maternity styles, for the first time. According to Maria Claire, the pregnant duchess showed particular interest in maternity tights, leggings and an official maternity dress at the Peter Jones department store in London's Sloane Square.

Store sources confirm the Duchess of Cambridge showed real interest in the $59 "Brooke" dress by Seraphine Maternity. The Seraphine website describes the lightweight jersey dress as "the ultimate summer maternity dress." It knee-length frock has a stretchy empire waist that sits under the bust and butterfly sleeves that add a touch of femininity.

The 31 year old mom-to-be stepped out on Tuesday in Grimsby, but despite being more than half way through her pregnancy, was still wearing regular clothes. Sources have said she plans to work up until her July due date, which means she would presumably need some maternity dresses for her royal duties.

So far the Seraphine Maternity dress is the first official maternity style Kate Middleton has been seen shopping for, despite her recent shopping sprees. It's unclear if she actually purchased the dress.
