Pregnant Kate Middleton shows off growing baby bump at rehab center

Pregnant Kate Middleton put her burgeoning baby bump on display while visiting Hope House, a women's addiction-treatment center in London, on Feb. 19.

The lithe 5-foot-10 Middleton wore a patterned Max Mara wrap dress that accentuated her tiny but growing belly. This is the first public appearance Kate has made since bikini photos of her vacationing in Mustique were first published by Italian tabloid "Chi."

Middleton, who's the patron of Hope House, praised the facility's rehab patients for their sobriety. "Well done for getting sober," the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly told them.

Kate, 31, has come a long way since her first trimester, when she suffered severe morning sickness that required a three-day hospitalization in December 2012. At the time, her husband, Prince William, joked that morning sickness should be renamed "day and all-night sickness" because Kate's extreme nausea wasn't limited just to mornings.

One patient at Hope House told reporters she had briefly chatted with the Duchess, who said she was feeling better but was a little nervous about childbirth. Middleton is due in July 2013.
