Pregnant Jessica Simpson: I won't gain as much weight this time

Jessica Simpson, who's pregnant with her second child, has resolved not to gain as much weight as she did during her first pregnancy, when she piled on 70 pounds.

"People like to talk about my weight," Simpson said on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show March 6. "This time I'm not going to gain as much. I didn't know you could actually pack on that many pounds so quick!"

Recent Twitter photos (see above) indicate Jess is keeping good on her pregnancy-fitness promise. The 5-foot-3 Simpson, who reportedly tipped the scales at 200 pounds last year, was shocked when the weight didn't immediately fall off right after she gave birth. "[I had] layers of fat," she recalls. "I had to work off all those brownies I ate."

Simpson, 32, revealed she's expecting a baby boy this time. "The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous," she laughed. "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"

Jessica, who's engaged to former NFL star Eric Johnson, says she only wants two kids because she's over being pregnant.

"It's time to have this baby already," she says. "I can't believe I'm pregnant again! This time around, being pregnant is more of a challenge. It's a totally different pregnancy.

"I just feel awful. I've been vomiting. I really don't want to be pregnant again because this pregnancy is really rocking my world right now."
