According to Laine Welch of Capital City Weekly: "For the first time ever, the U.S. government is advising all Americans [including pregnant and breastfeeding women] to eat seafood at least twice a week for heart and brain benefits."
On January 1st, the U.S. Depts. of Agriculture and Health and Human Services released new dietary guidelines advising individuals to eat at least two 8-ounce servings of seafood each week (avg. 250 mg per day of omega 3 with EPA and DHA, important for infant development.)
