Back for a second season, the Predators Craft Beer Festival brings the Coolest Beer Festival in Town back to Bridgestone Arena. Nashville's only indoor beer festival takes place in the beautiful, soaring main concourse at Bridgestone.
Supported by all four local beer distributors, Lipman, Bounty, DET and Ajax, all the festival proceeds go to support the Nashville Predators Foundation. In fact, the Craft Beer Festival is one of the five main fund raising events for the foundation. Others include the GnashVegas Casino Night and Auction and the Brent Peterson Celebrity Golf Classic.
Last year's event drew about 1,500 people, a very admirable turnout for a first year event. The ticket sales were slow early but picked up significantly in the last week. This year, don't expect to be so lucky if you delay in purchasing tickets. Tickets are limited, of course, and this is actually the best bargain in town for beer festivals. The general admission ticket is $50, which is high, but it includes a voucher for an upper level hockey ticket. And with a great new hire at head coach, the hockey tickets will be in high demand.
Another great feature of the event last year was the knowledge of the people serving the beer. The Music City Beer Society handled those duties last year, and they have been invited back to handle all the beer pouring duties again. The Music City Beer Society is one of the largest beer aficionado groups anywhere, and they are dedicated to the advancement of beer culture and education.
This has quickly become a destination craft beer event in Nashville. More information will be coming soon, such as the super special beers that will be available to the VIP ticket holders. So don't sweat the weather, get your tickets to the second Nashville Predators Craft Beer Festival.
Time for a pint. Cheers!
