For the second time this season, Predators left winger Matt Cullen recorded four points in a game. The native of Virginia, Minnesota notched a goal and three assists, the same statistics he had for Nashville in a 4-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on November 21.
The Predators also got a goal and two assists from Patric Hornqvist and two goals from star defenseman Shea Weber in the high scoring affair.
It was also a memorable night for Predators' defenseman Victor Bartley, who scored his first National Hockey League goal of his career.
With the victory, the Predators move to 30-31-10 and are nine points back of the Phoenix Coyotes for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Flames meanwhile drop to 28-35-7 and will next play in Edmonton on Saturday night.
