Highlights include: Pastor Ron Gibson helping Rick Dog, his former street buddy. Pastor Wayne Chaney’s wife Myesha has a tea party. Deitrick Haddon and Dominique plan for their wedding. Jay Haizlip and wife, Christy prays for a woman in the park, and Noel Jones tells Loretta “we are just friends.”
The Christian audience might be pleased with some of the deeds and acts of compassion that were showcased in Episode 3 of ‘Preacher’s of L.A.'
Ron Gibson payed a visit to Rick Dog and his buddy in the “hood,” took them shoe shopping and schooled them in walking and being gentlemen. Both the guys enjoyed the kindness of Gibson, and appreciated the advice and wisdom he imparted.
Jay Haizlip and his wife, Christy were walking in the park and noticed a woman who looked anorexic and stopped to pray for her. She expressed to them she had just recently turned 50, and wanted to commit suicide. Haizlip said that God sent him to the park for this reason.
Myesha, Wayne Chaney’s wife, hosted a tea party for the preacher’s wives and other prominent ladies. They enjoyed each others company and openly discussed their issues and concerns. Interestingly, Christy and Myesha began working a friendship.
Some viewers are changing their mind about the show. One lady stated, “I’m looking at ‘Preacher’s of L.A.’ differently now…I believe the producer, L. Plummer must have had a vision for this show, and I’m going to support him. – Anonymous
