Preacher's Kid starring Letoya Luckett

Preacher's Kid is a newly released Christian film directed by Stan Foster. It is loosely based on the Biblical story of the Prodigal Son. Music producer Tim Miner composed the score and original songs.Written and directed by Stan Foster, the film stars former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett, Kiki Sheard, Durrell Babbs aka Tank and Clifton Powell.

The storyline revolves around Luckett's character, Angie King. She joins the cast of a touring gospel play hoping to escape her father's controlling lifestyle. She soon learns that show business is not the life for her and longs to return home.

Preacher's Kid was released to 109 theaters on January 29, 2010.

CEO of Gener8xion entertainment Matthew Crouch has announced that all of the film's opening day's box office will be donated to humanitarian aid for 2010 Haiti earthquake relief.  Crouch has a long standing relationship with Haiti beginning with a visit there when he was just 15 years old.
