James McCartney, son of former Beatle Paul McCartney, is releasing his debut EP, "Available Light," on Sept. 21 on Engine Company Records. The EP is co-produced by Paul McCartney and David Kahne, who also worked on McCartney's "Driving Rain" album.
Pre-orders for the EP are available on iTunes starting today and on Amazon.com.
The five songs on the EP are "Angel," "Glisten," "My Friend," "Denial" and "Old Man" (a cover of the Neil Young song).
Engine Company Records is a small label based in New York run by artist Blake Morgan. Morgan has released several CDs on his own, including one that includes a cover of "Maybe I'm Amazed." The label was also responsible for a comeback CD by Lesley Gore called "Ever Since."
The official video trailer can be seen below. The digital booklet can be seen here.

JAMES dear friend!!!!!!
Do you know if a CD will be released or only the MP3 format?
Thanks
I'm looking forward to this but I'd much rather buy a cd than a download.
I LOVE the music, but why do all the Beatle sons have such "child-like" voices? None of them are under 30. they all sound like young teenagers.
What's the rationale behing "pre-ordering" on iTunes ?! It's not like it's going to run out is it...cheap promo I suppose and we do get to hear some snippets ;-)
Got something to say?
