Attendees were out in full force the tonight at the Westin Waterfront hotel located right next to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Headed by Penny Arcade forum member, LexiconGrrl, and the Cookie Brigade, tonight's event was one of the locations that was participating in hosting a pre-PAX board game night; the other location was the Boston Marriott Long Wharf.
Many of gamers came out, despite the snowy conditions. Some even came with both hands holding bags filled with various board games. Some of the games being played at the Westin included Fantasy Flight Games' Elder Sign and Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures game, as well as Rio Grande Games' Dominion, Asmodee's Ascencion: Chronicle of the God Slayer, and Steve Jackson Games' Munchkin to name a few.
Events like this and many more will be going on all weekend. So make sure you keep and ear out. Of course you can always just ask people if anything is going on. With an event as big as the Penny Arcade Expo, something is always going on. However, if you're too lazy, there is a compiled list of parties that are going on every night during PAX after hours. Some of them have already sold out, but there should be plenty of events left.
