The Walmart pre-Black Friday 2013 online deals continue, as the retailer is looking to get shoppers interested in their holiday specials earlier than before. Walmart began unleashing their online holiday deals as of the start of this month, and already has seen a few of the deals sell out, while others have risen to the top of their bestsellers list.
According to Holiday Gift Nation on Nov. 5, the bestselling deal among the early bird specials at Walmart is the 32GB iPod Touch with bonus accessory kit for $199. The MP3 players made by Apple include Buyers get to choose an iPod Touch 4th generation (32GB) in either white or black, and then an accessory kit to go with it. The iPod features front and back-facing cameras for shooting photos and video, just like the popular iPhone and iPads do. The Ematic 6-in-1 accessory kit is free to choose with the iPod and includes USB cable, 3.5-mm audio cable, carrying case, power chargers and more.
As of this report, another deal, a 4-pack of girls’ long-sleeve polo shirts has overtaken the iPod as the top deal in terms of “best sellers.” The shirts, also available for boys are selling for $24. Other deals featured in the top 10 include a Nextbook 8” dual core tablet with 8GB memory for $99, and a Nintendo DSi XL handheld game system for $99.96.
It’s been reported that several of the early deals already sold out on the Walmart site. These include a $49 tablet by XELIO, a 42-inch JVC TV that was $299, and a Sleekbook laptop that was on sale for $299. Brad’s Deals Black Friday news also mentioned that several deals have changed in price, including the aforementioned DSi game console which was on special for $89 and has since increased $10.
It should be interesting to see which other deals become scooped up in the coming days and weeks, as Walmart prepares to roll out their actual Black Friday 2013 sales flyer and deals. Deals for that shopping day will very likely begin on Thanksgiving as well as the day after, Nov. 29.
