Prayer is a personal one on one time with the Lord. We are instructed to pray in Jesus name, and do so at the end of each and every prayer. No man comes to the father except through the Son. Are you praying in Jesus name?
The bible records that all prayers are answered, but this does not mean that you get the answer you wanted or expected. This simply means that you will get an answer. The second aspect or key to understanding answered prayer comes from understanding of the time concept in the bible. There is Kairos (season) and Chronos (24 hour time of a clock) concept. We get answers to prayer on a Kairos time frame, and not a Chronos time frame.
Prayer is built upon relationship and intimacy. Thus, it takes time and consistency to establish a prayer life. Most of us are in way too much of a hurry to get it out, and get an answer. Simply put, thats not how it happens.
If you can grasp the concepts of time, relationship and consistency, your prayer life will go from boring mundane to explosive adventures. For more information, visit me at www.blog.adventurefellowship.com.
Have a great prayer day!
