Praise God For You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

(Psalms 139:13-18) For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.

(Colossians 1:16-17) For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Think about the fact that God designed you, determined when and where you would be born, and established each day you would live and the exact moment you would die; all before creation. This thought should put a greater level of importance in your mind and heart toward every day you live and what you do or don't do in each of those days.

The greatest task you have is to discover and discern what God has in His mind for you to do in and with your life and to spend each day pursuing that. In the end, nothing else is going to matter and the outcome of your pursuit is what you will be and what you will carry with you throughout eternity. All that you do, say, accomplish, and acquire, outside of what God has in mind for you will be instantly burned up the moment you stand before the Lord. You will be left standing with nothing but what you accomplished according to His plan and purpose for your life.

Look at your life today and ask yourself if you know what God's plan and purpose for your life is and if you are working on discovering it if you don't know or accomplishing it if you do.
