For all you Prada couture fans out there in Atlanta, here’s the latest Prada collection for Spring/Summer 2012 at their latest store opening in time for Paris Fashion Week on January 24, 2012.
Prada’s newest Parisian store has opened on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, moving in after a square footage extension, architectural update and image revamp.
Designed by Architect Roberto Baciocchi, per reports, the Prada store has been built on three levels, totaling some 1900 square meters (6233 square feet), housed in an early 19th century palace right in the heart of Paris.
The storefront is similar to that of the original Prada store in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, featuring curved windows, similar window dressing and fabric awnings.
On offer in all their colorful couture glory are both women’s and men's accessories, such as handbags and leather goods, footwear, eyewear, as well as their ready-to-wear selection.
Attending the store Prada store opening in time for Paris Fashion Week were Paris Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld (loved the ultra feminine jacket!), Vogue Japan Editor at Large Anna Della Russo, designer Bruno Frisoni, designer Chantal Thomass and Mr and Mrs Laurent Dassault.
