We think you're near Los Angeles

Prada museum pops up for one day during Paris Fashion Week (photos)

Talk about eye candy. Prada popped up in Paris in a 24-hour museum that called every couture collector to take a peek.

Located in the Palais D'Iena, this short-lived concept came from the creative mind of Milanese futurist Francesco Vezzoil in a space designed by think tank AMO from Rem Koolhaas' architectural firm OMA, and began with a private dinner that morphed into a nightclub and that morphed again into a very temporary museum.

Indeed, a true art exhibit emerged, the one-day-only collection erected with style in mind as the three-section exhibition is oh-so-enticing in honor of everything from the leading label, be that wide leather bracelets with metal logo plates to all hues of high heels to coveted bags every devoted fashionista can not do without.

But don't expect any of this today (Wednesday) in Paris. The around the clock exhibit shows a variety of women as sculpture, depicting their classical beauty but alluding to the current diva at the same time. Think concept art at its highest form.

Oh, and as a heads up: The Prada museum will be lost forever come 8:30 p.m. Paris time on January 25, 2012. So, if you're in the City of Light, hurry up to witness this stylish, if very temporary, masterpiece.

Bon vivant!
