Prabal Gurung for Target (Photos)

Target’s new collaboration is with fashion designer Prabal Gurung and is scheduled to hit stores before Valentine’s Day on February 10.

The 80 piece collection is super affordable and it includes shoes, bags, jewelry and clothing.

The collection is very bright and colorful, perfect for Spring. Flowers are the main theme but according to the designer the collection is all about Love.

Prabal Gurung was born in Singapore and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. He began his design career in New Delhi and later on he moved to New York to finish his studies at Parsons The New School for Design. After graduation he spent two years working with fashion designer Cynthia Rowley in her design and production team. Soon after he became appointed design director at the iconic Bill Blass fashion house, a post he held for five years until launching his own collection, PRABAL GURUNG.

His designs have been worn by some of the world’s top leading ladies including First Lady Michelle Obama and The Duchess of Cambridge, just to name a few.

Take a look at some of the pictures from the collection in the slideshow.
