Back in October, Target announced its collaboration with designer Prabal Gurung for a designer collection to be sold in its stores. Well, after months of waiting the full lookbook with prices is now available to view at Target online by clicking here.
The ready-to-wear, accessories, and shoes are an expression of spring with its mix of bright colors and bold floral prints. Beginning Feb. 10 to March 23 the entire 80+ plus piece collection will be available online and in Target stores everywhere with prices that range from $13 to $200. The collection featuring a significant amount of floral pieces speaks to Gurung's contemporary and romantic philosophy.
"The collection is inspired by a girl's journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone — from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement," Gurung said.
“I am so thrilled to be working with Target on a collection that brings my designs to a wider audience," Gurung said in a statement. "This collection was inspired by love and if Target's guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done."
Based in New York, Prabal Gurung is one of the many new American designers that are leading the way in fashion. He now joins the ranks of such designers like Jason Wu, Missoni, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler who all have debuted collaborative designer capsule collections at Target.
With his mix of modern luxe, incomparable sense of style and an sharp sense of modern glam, Prabal Gurung's collection at Target is a must see and a definite must have for spring.
