Yesterday PPG announced new design changes to their photo gallery which showcases venues that were constructed with PPG glass products. The photo gallery that features hundreds of buildings constructed with PPG glass has new interactive technology to include 3D imaging, GOOGLE MAPS ™ and compatibility with tablets and mobile phones. Some buildings with PPG glass products highlighted in the photo gallery are CONSOL Energy Center, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Marin County Day School. The reason for the redesign was feedback from architects.
“Even with all the sophisticated modeling and specification tools available today, architects still want to see what glass looks like on buildings in real-world environments,” Glenn T. Miner, PPG director of construction, flat glass, said. “The new photo gallery fulfills that need and offers architects more targeted, streamlined and relevant searching and sorting options.”
