Ten Michigan craft breweries-- Griffin Claw, Cheboygan, Dragonmead, Kuhnhenn, Vander Mill Ciders, Latitude 42, Right Brain, North Peak, Saugatuck, and Uncle John's Michigan Cider--will be represented at this 2nd annual event, featuring your favorite Stouts and IPAs, ales and hard ciders.
Other breweries from around the country offering samples of their craft beer include: Oskar Blues, Blue Moon, Tenth & Blake, Samuel Adams – The Boston Beer Company, Magic Hat, Vermont Hard Cider (Woodchuck), Brooklyn, Boulder, Tommyknocker, Spoetzl Brewery (Shiner), Thirsty Dog, Pyramid, Coronado, The Traveler, Leinenkugel’s, Angry Orchard and Anchor Brewing Company.
The event is set for 7 – 10 p.m., at the Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E. 11 Mile.
In addition to some great beer, several area food trucks will be on hand including:
Treat Dreams, Detroit BBQ Company, Concrete Cuisine and People’s Pierogi Collective. Look for some unique items made with craft beer including corned beef and swiss pierogi with Green Flash Double Stout; Vander Mill’s Totally Roasted Spiced Cider Sorbet; and Right Brain CEO Stout Brownies topped with Treat Dreams signature salted caramel ice cream and Griffin Claw Cherry Bourbon Stout chocolate sauce.
Tickets are $25 in advance at craftbeerexpo.net, or at the door. Hollywood Markets offers discounted tickets for $20 each, while they last. Legendary WRIF Radio DJ Anne Carlini will host this event, while Yelp! and UBER offer some swag, including UBER rides for first-time users.
A portion of ticket sales will support the Detroit Lions Club, a local branch of the Lions Club International Foundation.
