3-time Grammy winning rapper T.I. has been in the national headlines a lot in the past week for his "fight" with boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a Las Vegas Fatburger. Now he has made news here in Central Iowa by announcing a tour date at the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines. T.I. will bring his "Celebrity Takeover" tour to the venue on June 28 at 8 p.m. The Atlanta rapper has five platinum albums and two gold albums. His last six albums have topped the R&B and Rap charts, and three of them have topped the Billboard 200. T.I also has four #1 Rap singles to his credit. He plans to release his ninth studio album later this year. Tickets to the all ages Val Air show are $40, and VIP tickets are available for $65. Fans can gain backstage access for $150.
