The Wednesday, Feb. 19 drawing is the seventeenth in a long line of failures to hit the jackpot. The Powerball jackpot has rolled over 16 times since Missouri Powerball winner Kevin Carlson won $71.5 million on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2013. The Powerball jackpot has been growing exponentially until it reached tonight's amount of $400 million.

The Powerball winning numbers are drawn live Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m. EDT in Florida. The Powerball game is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 each.
