Did anyone win the Powerball jackpot March 1, 2014? Check your tickets now. You could be the lucky jackpot winner! Saturday's Powerball winning numbers were announced at 10:59 p.m. The Powerball results are 3, 8, 25, 30, 47, and the red Powerball number is 13, Lalate.com announced late Saturday, March 1.

The estimated jackpot amount for the March 1 drawing is $60 million annuity, or $33.9 million in cash. Both options are before taxes. Because the Powerball winning numbers were drawn just moments ago, it's still too early to predict a lottery winner.

Meanwhile, First Coast News announced Friday, Feb. 28, that Georgia Powerball winner Gregory Jarrett, 26, of the Atlanta suburb of Decatur, just claimed his $1 million lottery prize. He matched five out of six Powerball winning numbers, missing only the red Powerball number in the Jan. 15 drawing, but had totally forgotten about his winning ticket for over a month!

Jarrett told Georgia Lottery officials after checked his Powerball winning numbers,

"I called for my mom, and I walked toward her, shaking. She verified it, and at that point we hugged."

If no one matches all six Powerball winning numbers Saturday, March 1, the next grand prize will most likely reach $70 million or more! Good luck to all who played the Powerball Saturday night! What would you do with the $60 million jackpot if you end up being the Powerball jackpot winner? Would you buy a new car, send your kids to college, or go on a cruise?

The Powerball winning numbers are drawn live Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m. EST in Florida. The Powerball game is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 each, and another $1 for the Power Play option which could instantly multiply your prize winnings.
