Feeling lucky? You're not alone. Lottery players nationwide are asking, "Did anyone win the Powerball jackpot Feb. 15, 2014?" Tonight's Powerball winning numbers were announced at 10:59 p.m. The Powerball results are 2, 9, 14, 21, 23, and the red Powerball number is 3, NJ.com News announced late Saturday evening, Feb. 15. Check your tickets now. You could be the lucky jackpot winner!
The estimated jackpot amount at the time of drawing was $330 million annuity, or $189 million in cash. Sadly, both options are before state and federal taxes are deducted. Because the Feb. 15 winning Powerball numbers were drawn just minutes ago, it's still too early to predict a lottery winner.
If no one matches all six Powerball winning numbers Saturday, Feb. 15, the next grand prize will most likely top $400 million or more in time for the next drawing! Good luck to all who played the Powerball Saturday night! What would you do with the $330 million jackpot if you end up being the Powerball jackpot winner? Would you buy a new car, send your kids to college, or go on a cruise?
Meanwhile, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Friday, Feb. 14, that there were three $10,000 New Jersey Powerball winners in the last Powerball drawing. Each lottery winner matched four out of five white Powerball winning numbers, AND the red Powerball number for the third-tier prize.
The third prize tickets were purchased in the following locations: Burlington County at Shoprite of Route 38 & Ark Road, 127 Ark Rd., Mt. Laurel; Morris County at Country Farm, 224 Washington St., Boonton; and Ocean County at Quick Stop Food Store, 1004 Grand Central Ave., in Lavallette, New Jersey for the Wednesday, Feb. 12 drawing.
New Jersey Lottery’s Executive Director Carole Hedinger said,
"Congratulations to these fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets. These lucky players now join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners."
The Powerball winning numbers are drawn live Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m. EDT in Florida. The Powerball game is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 each, and another $1 for the Power Play option which could instantly multiply your prize winnings.
