Powerball Winning Numbers
Two jackpot winners in Wednesday's June 23, 2010 Powerball drawing will split $97 million dollars. The winning Powerball numbers were 11, 30, 45, 47, 48, the Powerball 10, and the Powerplay was 3X. Because there were two jackpot winners last night, the estimated Powerball jackpot will be reset to $20 Million for Saturday, June 26, 2010.
Two Ohio Winners in June 2010
CURTICE, OH Lottery Press Release – On the heels of its first jackpot-winning Powerball draw, the Ohio Lottery has already sold its second jackpot-winning Powerball ticket. The winning ticket was sold at Shirley’s Carryout in Curtice, near Toledo. Ohio Lottery officials traveled to the store location Thursday morning to present store owners with a $48,500 retailer bonus check for selling the winning ticket. The estimated $97 million jackpot will be split with another winning ticket, sold in Montana. The holder of the ticket has 180 days to come forward and claim the prize.
Just 3 weeks ago, the Ohio Lottery reported there was another winning Powerball ticket sold for the June 2, 2010 grand prize of $261,600,000. According to the official Powerball website, that grand prize has yet to be claimed.
May 2010 Was a Good Powerball Month in Rhode Island
Although no one in the Providence, Rhode Island area won last night's Powerball jackpot, the month of May was nevertheless a lucky month for many R.I. Powerball winners. 7 ticket holders won prizes of $10,000 and over, one as high as $40,000. If May was good for winnings, June has been just the opposite for Rhode Island lottery players. According to the Rhode Island Lottery website, only ONE R.I. ticket has won anything more than $10,000, and that was for a grand prize of $40,000 because the player purchased a PowerPlay ticket before the drawing.

The Powerball game is played in 42 States, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. For Rhode Islanders, the Powerball numbers are drawn live each Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59pm EST on WPRI, CBS Channel 12. Or, the live PowerBall drawing can be viewed online at PowerBall Live, also at 10:59pm EST. PowerBall tickets may be purchased until 9:50pm on drawing nights.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010, when the jackpot resets for $20 million dollars.
