The Powerball jackpot winning numbers are starting to flirt with possibilities of hitting a record payout once again. According to Powerball.com on Feb. 8, tonight's winning Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $247 million with a one-time payment option of $142 million. However if no one matches all six numbers tonight or in next Wednesday’s drawing, next Saturday’s Powerball jackpot could possibly hit record numbers.
No one matched all six numbers in last Wednesday’s drawing, but over $9 million was paid out in winnings, including two $1 million winners and one $2 million winner. The winning million dollar tickets were sold in Illinois and Minnesota, while the $2 million dollar winning ticket was purchased in South Carolina.
According to a Michigan.gov lottery update on Feb. 8, over 17,000 winning tickets were sold in for the last drawing, including one $10,000 winner. The winning numbers in the last drawing 8, 17, 32, 57, 59 and Powerball 24.
Always remember fellow Powerball players, just because you didn’t win the jackpot doesn’t mean you didn’t win something. Always double check your numbers!
