Congratulations to the California Powerball jackpot winner! The Powerball results for Feb. 19, 2014 are 1, 17, 35, 49, 54, and the red Powerball number is 34. One California lottery winner matched all six Powerball winning numbers Wednesday night for the $425.3 million jackpot, reported the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

The Powerball jackpot was originally estimated at $400 million annuity, or $227.8 million as a cash option. As Wednesday wore on however, the jackpot continued to grow as millions of players caught "Lottery Fever." The final Powerball jackpot came in at $425.3 million which will be paid out in 30 annual payments. The California lottery winner could also choose all cash, which would bring the one-time payout to around $242.2 million.

The California Powerball lottery jackpot winner purchased the lucky winning ticket at Dixon Landing Chevron, 1551 California CIR, in Milpitas, California. The gas station will receive a $1 million bonus for selling the winning Powerball jackpot ticket.

In addition to the California jackpot winner, there was another big winner that won a $2 million prize. One Texas Lottery winner put down an extra dollar on the Power Play option which doubled the Match 5 + 0 prize winnings from $1 million to $2 million.

There were also seventeen (17) second-tier winners that didn't play the Power Play and will end up with $1 million each. The Powerball winners purchased their tickets in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia with multiple winners in some states. Each lottery winner matched five out of six white Powerball winning numbers, missing only the red Powerball number for the Feb. 19 drawing.

Additionally, there were one-hundred-forty-four (144) Match 4 + 1 winners, sixteen (16) of which bought Power Play tickets and will see their prize winnings automatically increased to $30,000. The remaining 128 winners will receive $10,000 each. The winners matched four out of five white Powerball winning numbers, AND the red Powerball number for the third-tier prize.

When is the Next Powerball Drawing?

According to the Florida Lottery, the next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Feb. 22, 2014 at 10:59 p.m. EST. Because the California Powerball winner won the entire $425.3 million jackpot, the next grand prize on Saturday will restart at $40 million annuity, or $22.8 million cash value. The Powerball winning numbers are drawn live Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m. EST in Florida. The Powerball game is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 each, and another $1 for the Power Play option which could instantly multiply your prize winnings.
