According to the Florida Lottery, the next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Jan. 11, 2014 at 10:59 p.m. EST. Powerball winning numbers are drawn live Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m. EST in Florida. The Powerball game is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 each, and another $1 for the Power Play option which could instantly multiply your prize winnings.
