Saturday, the Powerball numbers were chosen and no one had all of numbers to win the big jackpot; the numbers chosen were: 2-19-22-26-45, and the Powerball was 24 and the estimated jackpot was $203 million, according to the Powerball website.
The grand prize jackpot will now climb to approximately $245 million (with a $136 million cash option) and the numbers will be drawn again on Wednesday night.
The Powerball website states that one ticket sold in Illinois won $2 million, and three tickets that were sold in Illinois, Michigan, and New Mexico are worth $1 million. This was the ninth time a jackpot winner wasn’t chosen after the Powerball numbers were drawn.
During Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, nine tickets won a $1 million each when they matched the first five numbers. Two of those tickets were sold in Pennsylvania, and one was sold in each of the following states: New York, North Carolina, Vermont, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Louisiana. Two tickets in California had the first five numbers and they split the $1 million, according to Philly News.
