The Powerball jackpot is at $216 million for the March 16 drawing. No one held the winning ticket for Wednesday night's drawing.
When the lottery went up to $150 million for last Saturday's drawing, interest for those who don't typically play the game unless the prize goes up, started taking a shot at their odds again.
According to MLive Thursday, Powerball numbers drawn for March 13 were 5-9-28-32-38 with a Powerball number of 29.
There were four $1 million winners who matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball number. Those tickets were purchased in Florida, Kentucky, North Dakota, and New Hampshire. No winners in Oregon were in this drawing, but a $1 million winner was on the March 2 one.
Will there be a winner for the $216 million Powerball drawing this Saturday? Depending on how many tickets are purchased, the jackpot will grow even larger if no ticket holder has Saturday's winning numbers. Numbers will be drawn at 10:59 p.m., ET. Lottery players in Oregon and along the West Coast can find out the numbers at 7:59 p.m., PT.
Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday. The jackpot begins at $40 million and grows until a winner is drawn.
