Power Outage leaves guests in the dark at Great Wolf Lodge

A night where families are searching for adventure, St. Patrick's day fun was cut short at the Great Wolf Lodge in Centralia, Washington Sunday night.. Three hours after an initial power outage at the resort was reported no definitive answers seemed to be in sight.

While the resort does boast an impressive backup power system, all guests were left wondering what went wrong.

According to the manager all guest compensation would be served on a case by case basis.

Guests left in their powerless suites were given glow sticks by resort employees.

By the time power was restored at approximately 7:50 p.m. there were still no answers as to the cause of the power outage. Contrary reports of guests leaving the resort as a result of the outage between management and patrons were inconclusive.

Manager for the Great Wolf Lodge did assure that emergency protocol was immediately put into place. Guests and their safety was the primary concern for staff on hand.
