Power outage for Baltimore residents following storm

Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) customers are without power this morning after strong winds caused damage over night. Over 42,000 customers are without power including Baltimore County residents and Anne Arundel Couny residents. To report power outages or to contact BGE, click here.

The Maryland Transit Association is reporting that downed trees have caused some delays on the Brunswick line this morning. A downed tree on one track was hit by a train on the Camden line.

While the high winds and rain have died down for the time being, the National Weather Service has issued flood warnings. A coastal flood warning has been issued for parts of Maryland until 6:00 pm. Take caution as streams and creeks are likely to overflow, covering some roads.
