Wazee Supper Club's summer menu had just been launched! Eleven new dishes and several cocktails, including the Presidential Punch, are here to help beat the summer heat.

Fried Macaroni & Cheese is a great place to start your meal or while enjoying a snack with a cocktail at the bar. Hot Italian sausage and classic mac and cheese are rolled into balls, breaded, fried and served with WSC's legendary marinara sauce and creamy ranch. While Wazee may call them 'bites' they are more like a double or even triple bite - more to love!

The Summer Wazee Salad tosses tart red sorrel, plump golden raisins, pickled fennel, juicy diced watermelon, toasted almonds, salty grana padano cheese, and creamy herb dressing together until all ingredients are mixed. The new salad is well-balanced and shouts summer with each bite!

Not Your Grandaddy's Wedge will become a longtime Denver favorite. Duck bacon, tiny marinated heirloom cherry tomatoes, and baby iceberg lettuce are tossed with a tangy red wine reduction and then drizzled with gorgonzola vinaigrette. The amazing salad is served with a wedge of tangy Maytag Blue Cheese.

The shocker of this summer's menu has to be the Mile High Pizza. Wazee's traditional pizza crust is brushed with peanut butter just as it exits the oven. The peanut butter melts into the piping hot crust and is then topped with diced bacon and sliced pickles. The menu boasts one of the ingredients as "bravery". While the combination may sound a little, um, unique, it's a truly tasty and addictive pizza. It's definitely a foodie's bucket-list item!

Cheesesteak Pizza might be the ultimate of comfort food on the menu. Mix Philly Cheesesteak with pizza and you've created a match made in culinary heaven. Sliced beef, green peppers, onion, mushrooms and, of course, cheez-whiz are all spread over red marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and then baked.

Bacon lovers rejoice with the 50/50 Burger! The half bacon, half beef patty is cooked perfectly and then topped with roasted corn-tasso relish and nopales aioli. Order the 50/50 burger and Wazee will donate $1 from every 50/50 burger to feed the hungry through Heroes Like Us.

The Pretzel Pastrami layers peppered pastrami, emmentaler cheese, homemade sauerkraut, and whole grain beer mustard on a pretzel roll baked fresh daily by the Aspen Baking Company. The pretzel roll is a perfect accompaniment to the traditional, housemade toppings.

To help cool you off, Denver's favorite summertime Watermelon Margarita is back by popular demand along with several other new cocktails including the Salty Dog, 100 Proof Manhattan & Old Fashion. In case you haven't heard by now, President Obama stopped into Wazee Supper Club two weeks ago in search of Denver's best pizza! In honor of his visit, WSC created a new drink called Presidential Punch which is comprised of vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, mint and champagne - it's a perfect not-too-political punch for these hot summer days!

While you are there, be sure to say hello to Executive Chef Bob! His presence on the dining room floor indicates how much he enjoys his food and this new summer menu. He'll run food from the kitchen and check in on diners' tables to make sure all is well - something rare to see regularly from chefs!
