Pottery Barn Kids announces recall on all drop-side cribs

Due to receiving several reports that the drop sides have malfunctioned causing some minor injuries,

the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in conjunction with Pottery Barn Kids (PBK), has issued a recall for all Pottery Barn Kids drop-side cribs regardless of model number. This recall was announced on July 14, 2010.

Pottery Barn Kids cribs were sold exclusively through the Pottery Barn Kids catalog, the PBK website and the PBK retail stores. This recall is for ALL MODELS sold nationwide from January 1999 through March 2010. The cribs range in price from $300 to $600.

Consumers are asked to stop using the cribs immediately and contact Pottery Barn Kids via their website or by calling 877/804/3847. Pottery Barn Kids will send a FREE fixed-gate conversion kit that will immobilize the drop side.
