"WWE 2K15" may be getting some fresh faces. According to a report from iDigital Times on April 30, several wrestlers who debuted over the past year may end up being playable in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One video game. The website believed that both Paige and the Wyatt Family should be added to the roster of this year's edition.
Paige made an immediate splash debuting in the Monday Night Raw Episode the day after Wrestlemania XXX. In an impromptu match, she was able to defeat A.J. Lee to win the Divas Championship. The aforesaid Wyatt Family is lead by Bray Wyatt, who appeared in one of the main matches against John Cena during last month's pay-per-view event. He is joined by his followers, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper.
The Wyatt Family actually debuted in July of last year, several months before "WWE 2K14" was released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 last year. However, the cut-off date for the finalized roster for last year's edition was apparently set after Wrestlemania, so the development teams didn't have time to implement the wrestlers into the final product. "WWE 2K14" came out on Oct. 29, 2013, for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. You can find a screen featuring the previously-released title from the official "WWE Games" Twitter page with the photo attached to the top of this article.
The wrestling company also clarified some details in regards to the recent launch of "WWE Network" on the Xbox One. According to eWrestling News, a subscription to Xbox Live Gold in needed along with membership for the streaming service. Furthermore, users must be committed to pay $9.99 per month for six months in order to use "WWE Network."
"WWE 2K15" is set for a launch sometime later this year for the PS4 and Xbox One. The video game is the first in the franchise to be developed for the two next-generation systems. Along with the potential debut of Paige and the Wyatt Family, John Cena and The Undertaker are also rumored to be returning as playable characters.
