Potential ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ testers asked their thoughts on multiplayer

Bioware plans to bring in several gamers to their local Vancouver studio next week to play test Dragon Age: Inquisition in order to gather feedback on the next installment of their fantasy series. According to a report by Gamespot on Feb 6, those hoping to be invited to test the game are being asked to fill out a survey. The developer states that they are looking for a wide range of opinions, including from gamers who have never played a Dragon Age title in the past. However, one question that could be of interest is that the potential testers were asked their thoughts on Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode.

Considering that there is no link between the two franchises, it seems a bit odd for Bioware to be inquiring about feature from a different series when seeking testers for the third Dragon Age title.

Many fans have speculated the possibility that the next Dragon Age release might feature some form of multiplayer mode but Bioware has yet to make an official announcement on the subject. While answering fan questions on Friday, Dragon Age: Inquisition Creative Director Mike Laidlaw further revealed that the developer simply isn’t ready to discuss the topic at this time.

We haven't announced anything about a multiplayer or co-op mode either way.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to release on the Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 later this year.
