I've taken in some of the side stuff early and there's plenty of non musical stuff going on. We took in Canadian comedy duo, called Canadian Comedy That Cares, who were entertaining a pcked smaller room in the Vera Project building, before moving on to see a poster exhibiton of Russian themed posters, called the Seattle Poster Poster Show, billed as a 3 year exploration of graphic art as a bridge between cultures.
Next to that, was an innovative exhibit, where Bumbershoot provided models, paper, canvas, easles and charcoal, and you can sit and paint their models with the material provided. Exhibits of other smaller art forms like paper folding are on show too.
Outside is the Fisher Green stage where folkier music is performed in front of a beer garden. We Are Golden were performing "We are in this Together" as we passed.
