A postal worker was fired over discarding Obamacare material addressed to residents on his delivery route. KTAR reports Oct. 11 that the postal worker who worked at a Fresno, Calif. location was caught trashing Obamacare information containing pamphlets for recipients on the the Affordable Care Act.
Jerry Dills, a resident who noticed the mail carrier tossing the Obamacare information into a dumpster, said he and kept "glancing over his shoulder over and over again" and acted oddly.
Dills salvaged the the thrown out mail, took it back to the post office, and filed a complaint with the Postal Service.
The postal worker who was fired for tossing the Obamacare mail admitted to doing it because he was worried about not getting back to the post office on time.
The postal office said the mail thrown out will be re-delivered to residents on Tuesday.
