Black Friday in Parker:  parents shop and kids play all day at the Parker Fieldhouse during Post-Turkey Parents’ Day Out.

Proving to be a popular alternative for families, Parker Recreation offers several opportunities throughout the year for kids to have fun while parents take some time.  This year, parents can drop children at the Parker Fieldhouse the day after Thanksgiving beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27.

Supervised by trained recreation staff, children 5 – 13 years old can play a variety of games and sports, use the climbing wall, do crafts, watch a holiday movie, or go skating. Concessions are available for purchase, or kids can bring snacks and sack lunches.

Located at 18700 E. Plaza Dr. in Parker, the Parker Fieldhouse is a state-of –the-art facility offering sports turf, batting cages, gymnasiums, inline rink with Sport Court flooring, climbing wall, elevated track, fitness loft and an indoor playground.

The cost for Post-Turkey Parents Day Out is $25 per child or $45 for two siblings.  Additional sibling and group discounts may be arranged by calling Errin Reese or Andy Fraser at 303-805-6300.

What a great opportunity for parents to have the day to themselves knowing their children are supervised while partaking in such fun events offered at Parker Recreation.
