On Aug. 28, 2013, reactions to post-Miley Cyrus on MTV's Video Music Awards (VMA), held in Brooklyn, NY, hit hard with the pros and cons of Cyrus' "entertaining" during the award's event on Aug. 25.
Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and other online social networking sites display a plethora of people's reactions to Miley Cyrus' "singing and dancing" accompanied on stage by Robin Thicke, backup performers, plus an ensemble of overstuffed dancing teddy bears!
In 2009 Cyrus developed an adult image and mainstream pop sound with her extended play "The Time of Our Lives."
During the following two years, Cyrus focused on her acting career with several television and film appearances.
On Aug. 25, during the 2013 MTV's VMA, Cyrus was featured dancing with teddy bears. As the comments below indicate, though, the majority of opinions did not reflect a positive note with her choice of dance "style."
Unfortunately, some of the words used to describe her performance have been - raunchy, offensive, attempt at being sexual, distasteful, untalented, fake, bad, forced, shocking and embarrassing.
The following anonymous comments are those found submitted on miscellaneous social networking websites - some good, some not so...
"I was not the least offended."
"I was offended and shocked.
"It was so bad. She had a bad costume, shoes, hair, dancing, the tongue - it was all bad!"
"I didn't see anything wrong with it."
"Pre-teens and younger should not be watching MTV's VMA!"
"There was nothing artistic about Miley Cyrus."
"The tongue thing was just weird."
"Her performance was forced."
