There was a possible tornado in Duval County during the overnight hours early Monday morning around 4:00 am.
Reports are that trees were snapped along Townsend Road, between I-295 and Blanding Blvd on the Westside of Jacksonville. One tree was blown over and lying on some powerlines causing an outage to approximately 200 people in the area.

On Wednesday, January 27, the statewide Tornado Drill will be conducted by the National Weather Service Offices in Florida at 10:10 am Eastern Time (9:10 am Central Time). This year the drill will include actual over-the-air test messages on the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and NOAA Alert Radios. In the event of an actual severe weather threat, the test would be moved to the same time on Friday, January 29.

This indicates, with the positioning of the low pressure near the Carolina's, we will most likely see the potential for severe weather in that time frame.
Looking at the GFS Forecast Model, it is agreeable to the passage of a cold front late Friday into Saturday morning.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high around 65. North wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. A 40% chance of showers.
