Back in January of this year, Nintendo announced that Miiverse will be coming to their 3DS Handheld and Smartphones. This won't happen until the Fall, but some very interesting have popped up recently. The images show Miiverse on an Android Interface with dates and times blurred out. It's very important to take these images with a grain of salt as they could possibly be doctored, but these screenshots look exactly how it should look like. It's extremely important to also remember that these could be leaked and edited out the times and names for protection.
One of the screenshots depicts the official name for the app which is "Miiverse For Android" so it seems that for the iPhone and PC version, they will be called "Miiverse for iPhone" and "Miiverse for Web" respectively. The Design is very similar to the Wii U version. Nothing has changed besides the menu bar at the bottom instead of the left side. Also, for the future Miiverse update, it would be very nice to see different colors instead of black. With different colors implemented into all of the different Miiverse versions, artists will be able to let out even more of their creativity.
If you've never used Miiverse, it launched in 2012 on the same day that the Wii U launched. It can be accessed by touching the Miiverse icon in the WaraWara Plaza on your Wii U console. Miiverse is essentially a Social Gaming Network where everybody can draw anything within any community or just leave a normal status. It's also a very meaningful platform when it comes to receiving help with any levels or bosses. For example, with New Super Mario Bros U, Miiverse was implemented into numerous spots in every level. After you accidently die in a certain spot, Miiverse posts from random people will show up from people who died in that exact spot. They are usually expressing anger or warning people of what to do next. Miiverse is an extremely unique invention and it'll eventually lead to Sony and Microsoft copying the idea.
When Miiverse launches for Smartphones, this will let Nintendo fans draw art or give advice on the go away from the Wii U console. Nintendo could possibly launch a small number of Smartphone games in the near-future, but this hasn't been confirmed as Nintendo only releases software on their hardware. Also note that these images were shared continuously on Tumblr and Google+. The origin to this moment is still unknown. Check out the supposed screenshots of the Android version of Miiverse above.
