According to the Kellogg’s website, the company today announced a voluntary recall in the U.S. of three sizes of Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal packages due to the possible presence of glass fragments.
No one has been injured by the fragments, Kellogg’s said. ~ CBS News
Kellogg’s asks that you check any packages you have in your home.
If your package matches the information below, do not eat the food and contact them for a replacement coupon.

If your package is any size other than 11.2, 22.4 or 37 ounces, it is not impacted by this recall.
If your package has the letter code KXA, KXB, or KXC, following the Better if Used Before Date, it is not impacted by this recall.
No other Kellogg products, including products sold in Canada, are part of the recall.
Replacing your recalled package of Kellogg's Special K Red Berries cereal:
- If you have a package of recalled Kellogg's Special K Red Berries cereal, as listed above, you can email Kellogg’s the following information:
- The UPC Proof of Purchase scan code from your cereal package,
- The complete Better If Used Before Date, including the letter code and time stamp, from your cereal package, and
- Your name and mailing address.
Kellogg’s will then send you a replacement coupon. You can also call 1-800-962-1413 for a replacement coupon.
