Paul Shishis of Oshawa, Ontario was in the back yard at his mother’s home in Scarborough when he heard “a loud engine sound from above.”
When he looked up, he saw a “slow black helicopter” that passed over “close by from the southwest.” And headed northwest.
Shishis quickly snapped a couple of pictures and tried to videotape the helicopter because he knows from past experience that these aircraft are usually present for a reason. However, the helicopter moved too quickly and went over the roof.
Although he says he “botched the video clip, he believes he did capture something else.
“I may have caught something on video,” he said, “possible flying rod? Or it could well be an insect.”
From viewing the video, it appears much too large to be an insect but we’ll leave it to the readers to decide. Stop the video at between two and three seconds to get a good look.
Either way, Shishis says the timing is suspect, especially given the white light he witnessed over Oshawa on the same date but later that night. On August 4, he spotted a helicopter in the night sky over Oshawa that appeared to be monitoring blue and red lights. See that article HERE.
