I am here to encourage you this day, family! God is a good God! Our King is a faithful Father who will never leave us nor forsake us! (Hebrews 13:5). In these times, many will be overtaken with discouragement; I pray this not be you! As sons and daughters of the Most High God, we do not walk by our circumstances, by what we see. God forbid! We walk by faith, which is the evidence of things not seen! (Hebrews 11:1).
Possessing the gate of our enemies is part of the covenant promise and authority that God made to us, as descendants of Abraham! Genesis 22:17 shouts the victory as it proclaims “blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies!”
What an amazing promise that we, as children of the Most High King and descendants of Abraham, have to stand on! We have been given the authority to possess the gate of our enemies! Notice that the word gate used in this verse is singular, yet the use of the word enemies is plural. Do you realize what this tells us, child of the King?! It tells us that, although there are many enemies that take many different forms, there is but only one gate that all the enemies come from! And even better, we have authority to possess that gate! Praise the Living God!
