Possess a title when selling a vehicle

There is an 1983 AMC Jeep Eagle for Sale in Dayton on Craigslist. It looks really nice, and it seems like it is all original. I haven't seen an AMC in a long time, I forgot about them. They look similar to a Volkswagen Thing in terms of body style, only that the AMC is bigger.

But the person who is selling this vehicle states that he does not have a title. Selling a vehicle without a title is not a good thing; for the next person will not be able to register the vehicle in their name.

For Nevada's case, here is a link to the DMV website for private party selling:

Also, here is another link to applying for a duplicate title; if the vehicle was last titled in the State of Nevada. If the vehicle you are selling was sold in a different state, request a duplicate title from the DMV in that same state.

There is more to a private party car sale than just a title, there's registration, insurance proof, etc. Just remember all these details when you list a vehicle for sale.
