The autistic community is a fast growing emerging society. One of the many changes witnessed this past decade has been the vital use of social media networking for marginalized and minority groups. The funny thing is that these groups are not so ‘minor’ – as we witness the uprisings through the middle east this past year and reflect on the impact of huge crowds and voices, trickling over to the occupancy protests in the civil societies of the Western World. Emerging societies appear to have taken hold and are not going away anytime soon.
Many autistic communities throughout the western and emerging worlds are connecting and linking their commonalities, interests, aspirations, desires and thoughts – not holding back, even attacking one another when necessary to get their once reduced to retarded [by imposed structures] ‘holdings of hidden ideas’ to the forefront!
Throughout the past decade and more recent past year, the social consciousness seems to be excessively present than ever. There is an increasing growing awareness, an awareness of social injustices that has been pummeled to the people by bureaucracies, bureaucracies fearful now to unleash the structures of past. History is the one aspect of life societies can count on, the recall of the unexpected, the changes, new and unfamiliar – it is such which provokes fear in humans and hesitation! But unleash they will as the walls of hidden agendas start to break down, to reveal a new world order, a new way, obstructed by verbal language.
Verbal language, the ammunition to prevent higher consciousness from emergence. Conditioned societies have been led to believe that verbal communications is a sign of intelligence and one of the conditioned societal structures embedded for centuries. Technology combined with the voices of the once disregarded as ‘less than’ has been the volcanic rumblings of the recent decade – and we are now witnessing the heated flowing lava enraptured by opportunity to have a voice, and, not necessarily a verbal voice!
What we don’t know in words, we do know in emotions – in feelings that resonate throughout our bodies. It is the feelings of a once suppressed, hidden and institutionalized group of people that is beginning to break free. The energetic resonance linked through common human survival is bonded. The once unheard voices of an emerging human population impacting global societies not through the airwaves controlled by individual dynastic corporations, rather by virtual worlds interconnected often through the genius of the autistic mind!
