Thanks to Imelda Corona, Rain Dog Rescue and Dr Jessica of Your Pets Wellness, Pose a Pet™ was introduced this morning’s segment of WGN Morning News. Pose a Pet is an app that will help pet parents to get great photos of their pets. The app will also be very beneficial for pet rescue organizations and those working at shelters to get their orphaned pets adopted.
Pose a Pet is available in the iStore. In October there will be even more awareness because the creators of the app will be kicking off a crowd funding campaign to complete the Android version of the app.
To ensure that the word gets out and that the new version gets out, the creators would appreciate you liking them on Facebook and following them on Twitter. Since they have entirely self-funded the effort so far to date, they would like to continue not only helping the Rain Dog Rescue, they have made plans to help even more. They need the public’s health to join in on the Animal Rescue Revolution that is going on right now! If you need any more incentive, please visit www.PhotosToTheRescue.com/about.
Pose A Pet is helping to make pet rescue easier; making better pet rescue photos a snap. “Each year, millions of pets die for the simple reason that they do not have a home,” says Jennifer Whaley of Fetch Portraits. “Good pictures go a long way to help save the lives of these pets and move them out of high kill shelters or out of no kill shelters, which opens up space for more pets. Good technology, photos and networking will go a long way to change the statistics.”
Jennifer Whaley began her pet photography business after she helped her father launch his dream and then he became sick and died. She continued that dream on her own. Her first portfolio photos were of shelter dogs at Chicago Canine Rescue. Now her work continues.
In addition to Pose A Pet, Photos to the Rescue has been launched. It is a new website that amasses all of the Pose A Pet fliers by each state and region. It helps people to sign up for daily updates in their area.
Pose A Pet has a free version that will allow the public to choose from four sound effects, create a flyer and post the photo on social media with the logo. There is also a premium version available for $1.99. It offers a choice of 20 photographer tested sounds. There is also the capability to create and save pictures and flyers to social media and your camera roll and share without the Pose a Pet logo for free.
Check out Pose-A-Pet and see what WGN was so gung-ho to get out to the public. This app will offer the world a better method to get pets rescued.
